Every year I visit New York City enough times that I inevitably lose count. What can I say? I love NYC.
Last weekend was my first trip up this year, and it was a great time, as usual. Having started my Project 365 last month, I'd been feeling more forced to take pictures lately and was excited for a new city to be my subject for a few days. And an incredible, photogenic city at that.
I figured I'd probably use pictures taken with my Canon 30D. I mean, that's the best camera I have right? Surprisingly, I found myself deliberating on what pictures to use for both Saturday and Sunday. And each day it was between a picture taken with my 30D and one taken with my phone, the HTC Droid Incredible. In the end, I decided to use the ones taken with my "real camera." However, I realized that thanks to improvements in cell phone cameras, convenience and a little laziness (What? SLRs can be heavy!), pictures taken with my phone can compete with ones taken with an SLR. New era?
And the Project 365 weekend runner ups are . . .
