In fact, when I really think about it, I've been quite lazy in general. I mean, I keep quite busy, but it's mostly on the social front, which I love (and I love all of you dear friends of mine).
But very little that I've done has stemmed from me pursuing my dreams and being intentional.
I've never been the goal-setting type. I pride myself on being very flexible--able to go with the flow. But if I go with the flow, I may never actually GO anywhere at all. Just drifting from one thing to the next, but with no promise of any…accomplishment.
Now I could go into why I don't set goals, but despite how absolutely scintillating and entertaining that might be, it won't reap results.
And it is time for results.
In the words immortalized by Vince Vaughn in Wedding Crashers...
"No excuses. Play like a champion."
That's right. I'm referencing Wedding Crashers in my serious talk about life, goals and making things happen.
And I'm applying Rule #76.
It's time to hustle. It's time to WANT. It's time to pursue.
