We got another major snow storm this weekend; it has several names from snowpocalypse to snowmageddon, but my personal favorite was snowtorious B.I.G. It's given me the opportunity to spend a lot of time on photography. We are pretty much snowed in, but thankfully still have power and the Internet. What would I do without those? Probably read, but I digress.
I've been working a lot with Adobe Lightroom to make the most of my pictures. I am slightly in love with the presets, especially the aged photo one (see snowman to the left). Milli also showed me her approach/style with Lightroom. It's so great having friends who have the same hobbies as you do and who are talented.
Once a good foot or more of snow accumulated, we went out to take a walk around our complex and enjoy a little of the fresh snow. I was a little concerned for my camera in all that snow that instantly melts when it falls on the camera, but I think we came out alright.
When we went out later today after the snow had stopped, a lot of the sidewalks and roads were quite clean. Our complex is really on top of it this time around. I'm a little sad to see the snow stop and the roads resurface. It's kind of fun having a snow storm every once in a while.
