Last weekend I went to NYC with my friends to celebrate Holly's birthday. Holly also brought her new toy, the Canon 50D. So now the three of us living in our condo are Canon and Mac girls. The two others have iPhones, too, so I guess I am next.
Our friend Sandy (also an iPhone owner...okay now I'll leave that alone) also got a new camera; hers is a Nikon. We spent some of the weekend braving the cold to take some pictures. Since they are relatively new to the land of SLRs, I got to do my best to share what I know. Along with Miss Milli Mike and her photographer self. I focused on aperture and shutter speed, with a little on ISO.
It was a little more challenging with Sandy's camera, since I haven't shot with a Nikon very much. And it's not that it's harder to use; it's just that I am programmed for Canons.
Hopefully the ladies learned some and weren't too bored with our mini-lessons. :-)
